WOW, is all I can say. I can understand why Leonard Nimoy got teary eyed at the end. So did I. The movie makers treated Star Trek well. I agree with Dominick. I have some reservations about the "interesting" plot development which do not outweight the whole film but I'd like to see how some of the story will be resolved in the sequels. There was a lot to build on, I think. And didn't Karl Urban sound just like DeForest Kelly in some scenes? I had to recalibrate my hearing a couple of times. And Zachary Quinto did a nice acting job playing Spock. Most of the characters caught the essence of the originals. Says a lot for the direction staying "mostly" true to the orignal series, I am happy to say.. LL&P to all. Peace and long life.
